What's your time at homeppl been like?
It’s been like a rollercoaster. I was brought in as an Operations Analyst and have moved my way up to a Team Lead. Now I manage a team of 5, ensuring we catch absolutely all fraud while making sure our customers' needs are met.
I think the pandemic has treated Homeppl well, we have grown and gained a number of high profile clients. Establishing both an excellent operations team and a next-level tech team to build and maintain our products.
Working from home has seemed almost more productive for us! So, we will remain a hybrid workspace.
How was your first day?
I thought this was just going to be like any other job, 2.5 years ago...I was wrong. I genuinely love the people I work with, they are amazing. Not only that, I believe in our mission and I know that we are making a real difference not only for our clients but also the tenants.
What's your normal day look like?
I look after trial accounts, protecting our clients from the massive increase in rental fraud. I also look for opportunities to improve our services either by finding ways to reduce average check times, or by finding new methods of catching fraud.
